Apply to weed foliage with controlled coverage. Do not spray the mulch bed.
Re-walk the bed from the opposite direction before leaving the property.
A clean-looking bed from 10 feet away is not the standard. Inspect the whole bed.
✓ Keep the nozzle low and close to the target.
✓ Spray weed foliage only.
✓ Apply uniform coverage — not to runoff.
✓ Keep spray and drift off desirable plants, green stems, foliage and exposed roots.
✓ Use controlled trigger pressure; avoid waving the wand through beds.
Do not spray when the target cannot be isolated from desirable vegetation.
Do not spray if wind/drift makes control uncertain.
Do not spray blindly underneath shrubs.
Do not spray to the point of runoff.
Use the approved non-spray method or ask a supervisor when the situation is uncertain.
Before leaving, turn around and inspect the landscape beds again from the opposite direction.
